The HDCC will be organizing a few workshops in the area of dependable systems.

The Second HDCC Workshop, "Dependability in Real Life," is scheduled for May 6-8, 2001, at Chaminade, in Santa Cruz, California.

David Garlan (Carnegie Mellon Univ.), Martin L.Griss (Hewlett-Packard), and Michael R. Lowry (NASA) are co-chairs of the first workshop on January 10-12, 2001, which is to be held at NASA Ames, Moffett Field, Calif.
